expanzServer Applications run as separate webservices that can interoperate with IIS, Apache, Tomcat or any other standards based internet server, as well as operate independantly and directly with the client via HTTP/HTTPS.

All data and business objects remain on the server, with all traffic to the client secured using SSL and optimized using GZIP. As expanz uses SOAP by default, B2B interoperability comes built-in and as easy to enable external application access as it is to your internal users
